By Tyshana Campbell & Dr. Latoya Haynes-Thoby

Abstract: Career counselors serve a wide variety of individuals across multiple settings, including industry, community, and education settings. As we consider the utility and application of career interventions, it will be important to consider client contexts, including interests, skills, context, and their histories, including the potential for trauma exposure to best support client needs. This session will invite attendees to explore client contexts, and operationalization of trauma-informed and culturally-responsive approaches.
