Student Kimberly Richmond Awarded NBCC Minority Fellowship

Master’s student Kimberly Richmond was awarded the National Board for Certified Counselors Minority Fellowship.

Kimberly RichmondThe NBCC Minority Fellowship Program (MFP), which is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, provides financial support to master’s- and doctoral-level counseling students who commit to serving historically underserved communities. These communities include underrepresented racial and ethnic populations, child/adolescent and geriatric groups, communities in inner cities and rural areas, LGBTQIA2S+ folx, those who are veterans or are from military families, or individuals seeking substance use disorder services.
