Counselor Education student Grys Almanzar is presenting at the Connecticut School Counselor Association (CSCA) Conference in May. Her presentation is entitled “Disadvantages of Multilingual Students when Preparing for Post-Secondary Education.”
The description for her breakout session reads: “This session will focus on the barriers, disadvantages and gaps that multilingual students face when they start to prepare for college or post secondary education. Participants will discuss how to change how we prepare our multilingual population and increase the data and outcomes for these students.”
